Main Line Projects — What We Actually Build
Newtown Square — Colonial Property Rear Yard Modernization. A stately colonial with an underutilized rear yard bordered by mature white oak and Norway spruce. The challenge was adding contemporary outdoor living amenities without compromising the property's established character. We designed a bluestone terrace with formal hedging, a naturalized rain garden along the lower grade, and a pergola structure aligned with the home's existing roofline. The 3D rendering allowed the homeowners to visualize seasonal change before approving construction documents.
Wayne — Pool Surround Design. An existing pool with concrete surround that dated the property significantly. Full pool landscape redesign: bluestone coping replacement, reshaped planting beds with ornamental grasses and specimen plantings for privacy, an integrated outdoor shower structure, and a new lighting system that transformed the space after dark. The result reads as estate-quality, appropriate for this Wayne neighborhood's character.
Gladwyne — Estate Scale Master Plan. A 3-acre Gladwyne property with a historic fieldstone manor and grounds that had not been formally designed in decades. We developed a phased master plan: formal entry court with allee plantings, structured garden rooms off the rear terrace, naturalized meadow buffer at the lower property line, and a kitchen garden enclosed by historic-style stone walls. Phase 1 completed in one season; Phase 2 is underway.
